How I Came to Rule the Known World

Okay, so maybe I don’t exactly rule the known world but that is exactly how I felt when I was Pressed. I am honestly so humbled and overwhelmed by all the encouragement and support I received from so many of you. Thank you, each of you, for taking the time to stop by, read, and leave feedback. Every “like” felt like a fist bump. Every comment felt like a hug. And now I feel like a million bucks! Your words gave me the push I needed to keep writing and to move forward with my blog so thank you again! I look forward to stopping by your blogs and getting to know you better as we move forward together in our little blogging community. I dare say I am falling in love with each and every one of you. I love you I say! You see what kind of rubbish you will have to put up with if you keep reading my blog? You’ve been warned 8]

Love, Kari

  1. Thank you, Kari! I needed this reminder. I, too, have relationships with my siblings that are not what I want them to be. I blame it on differences in age (I am more than 10 years older than them), differences in life stages (I am married with kids, they are single), but the truth is I am not doing what I should! I am also encouraged by your post to embrace every moment with my children. Thank you so much!!

May the Lord give us what we need to build our relationships on Him and His love, so that in everything we do, we are building HIS house! I ask these this in the mighty name of Jesus, who is Love. Amen.

  2. Congrats on your first Press! That truly is an honor, considering how many are writing something on WP. Your blog is a breath of fresh air… and, I do know the feeling of those likes and comments. Judging by your feedback, you should feel like a ‘million bucks’.

    p.s. thanks for the warning…

  3. I really liked how you wrote about Dunkin’ Donuts with all the novelty and glamor behind Starbucks. Donkin’ donuts needed some love. I’ve been a supporter of orange for a long time but I’ll admit that I do go to both.

  4. Congrats on the blog! I found it by accident on my wordpress first page and simply loved it. Keep writing! I run a blog too, but in Brazilian Portuguese… =S It tries to help people here understand song translations better, ’cause translations for lyrics here in the country are quite bad… lolololol. Anyway, congrats again and if you ever learn any portuguese, I’d love having you pay me a visit! =)

  6. I just found you when you were “pressed” so am thankful for that, too 🙂 You are obviously compelled by Love (2 Cor. 5:14), and there is just nothing like it, is there?! People are drawn to you because of your sincere love for life and for people…It is bubbling out of you and spilling out onto you blog. Keep being who God made you to be! We are blessed by you.
